One easy way to find books that your child will enjoy and are on the appropriate grade level is to go to the Scholastic Store website.
Click here. It is a great place to get ideas about what are the latest
hot books, and to find appropriate material on grade level and in areas that your child may be interested. This is where I go to make my wishlist for the school library.

Destiny Quest
In the section labeled
FIND, type the author, title of the book, or subject matter, and Destiny Quest will bring up all the books in the library that match. If the book is available, it will be marked
IN.
